Who we are
Orbis (“Orbis”, “we”, “us”) operates the website at launchorbis.com and the Orbis CRM at app.launchorbis.com. Questions about this policy or your data can be sent to hello@launchorbis.com.
Information we collect
Early-access list. When you join early access, we store your email address and your consent to be contacted about access. To limit abuse, we keep a daily, one-way hashed value derived from your IP address; we do not store the raw IP address.
Google sign-in. When you sign in to the CRM with Google, we receive your name, email address and profile picture from your Google account. We request only the basic openid, email and profile permissions for sign-in.
Workspace content. Information you add to your workspace, such as companies, contacts, deals, tasks, invoices, notes and agent settings, is stored so the CRM can work for you.
Connected services. If you choose to connect a service such as Gmail, Google Calendar, Slack or QuickBooks, Orbis accesses data from that service only after you give separate permission, and only to provide the features you turned on. You can disconnect a service at any time.
Technical information. Our hosting provider processes standard request data, such as IP address, browser type and pages requested, to deliver and secure the service. The CRM uses cookies that are needed to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party analytics trackers.
How we use information
- To provide, maintain and secure the website and CRM, including signing you in and keeping your workspace private to you.
- To contact you about early access, your account and important changes to the service.
- To run the features you choose, such as preparing follow-up drafts or tasks for your review.
- To prevent abuse and to comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your workspace content or connected-service data for advertising.
Google user data
Orbis’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Google user data is used only to provide or improve user-facing features you request, is not transferred to others except as needed to provide those features, comply with law or as part of a merger or acquisition, and is not used to serve ads. People at Orbis do not read this data unless you give permission, it is needed for security, or the law requires it.
Service providers
We rely on trusted providers that process data on our behalf to run Orbis:
- Vercel — website and application hosting.
- Supabase — sign-in and database storage.
- Google — sign-in with your Google account.
- Composio — secure connections to services you choose to link, such as Gmail, Google Calendar, Slack and QuickBooks.
- AI model providers — if AI features are enabled for your workspace, relevant workspace context is sent to an AI provider to generate drafts and suggestions for your review. Under those providers’ API terms, it is not used to train their models.
Retention and deletion
We keep your information while your account is active or while you remain on the early-access list. You can ask us to delete your account, your workspace or your early-access entry at any time by emailing hello@launchorbis.com. Some information may be kept for a limited time where required for security, backups or legal obligations.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit, workspaces are isolated from one another, and access credentials for connected services are kept on our servers rather than in your browser. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and will notify you of a breach where the law requires.
Your choices and rights
You can access, correct, export or delete your information, withdraw consent to early-access emails, and disconnect connected services. You can also revoke Orbis’s access to your Google account at any time from your Google Account permissions. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law. Contact hello@launchorbis.com to make a request.
Children
Orbis is a business tool and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as Orbis develops. We will change the date above and, for significant changes, let account holders know before the changes take effect.
